Located in Griffintown’s Yoo project (inspired by Philippe Starck), the kitchen of this condo is distinguished by its bold monochrome palette. The island seems to be one with the floor thanks to the matching tone in the made-to-measure oak façade finish. The sink blends into the counter, which is a solid 6 mm stainless steel sheet that extends into the dining area. Gaggenau appliances are seamlessly concealed in the island and high columns. To create continuity and harmony, the lacquered glass doors of the storage unit are sand coloured. The straight, symmetrical lines of this kitchen space are designed to elegantly contrast with the round polished concrete pillar. It adds up to a kaleidoscope of shapes and textures for all to enjoy.
